Wraz z końcem września, zakończył się także trzeci kwartał 2015. Jak wiemy ostatni kwartał okazał się trudnym okresem dla rynku amerykańskich akcji. Indeks S&P 500 stracił –6,94%, indeks Dow Jones zanotował najgorszy kwartał od ponad 4 lat ze stratą –7,58%. Poniżej pokażemy jak to przebiegało dla poszczególnych sektorów. Na skutek ogólnych spadków na giełdzie, wszystkie sektory zanotowały straty, z wyjątkiem jednego. Jedynym sektorem, który zanotował zysk za ostatni kwartał jest sektor Użyteczności z zyskiem w wysokości +4,16, lecz licząc od początku roku w dalszym ciągu notuje on stratę w wysokości –6,33%. Najsłabszym sektorem w ostatnich 3 miesiącach jest sektor Podstawowych Materiałów, który to zanotował stratę –23,88%, następnie sektor energii –19,89%. Licząc od początku roku, najlepszym sektorem jest sektor Opieki Zdrowotnej, ze stratą –11,19%, najsłabszym sektorem sektor energii ze stratą –28,20% oraz sektor Podstawowych Materiałów –19,89%.
